Professional Career

I have been working for more then 25 years in the aerospace and automotive industry, including several years as Technical Authority. I now also propose consulting services in all domains where Safety and Reliability are crucial.

  • 2024-2025 Development of a tool to support Safety activities in Aerospace

    • Smart database to support the main activities at Aircraft and System levels
    • Features to record the modifications, import / export from / to Microsoft Excel
    • AFHA and PASA packages are already available

  • 2022-2025: Consultant for Flying Whales

    • Design Safety CVE (Compliance Verification Engineer) for the program LCA60T
    • Involved in Airship Safety activities, Systems Safety activities and Particular Risks
    • Regulation scope : CS 30T ; SC GAS. Writer for some CAIs (Severity matrix and CSFL) • Contributing first 20% of my time, then 50% and now 80%.
    • Working with Isograph Reliability Workbench tool for Fault Tree Analysis.

  • 2021-2024 Consultant for CS CANADA

    • First mission with Inceptio Technology (automotive trucks). Learning standard ISO 26262
    • Second mission with DANA TM4 : FMEA and Fault Trees on Inverters (ISO 26262)
    • Expert with MEDINI ANSYS tool for FMEA and Fault Tree Analysis. Re-use of the methodology with PARKER. • Third mission with HEXAGON – Autonomous Stuff : Safety Analysis for a Drive by Wire System (ISO 13841)
    • Support to commercial activities (meetings, technical proposals) and hiring process.

  • 2023 Consultant for HEART Aerospace

    Short contract to review the Safety / Reliability instructions : AFHA, PASA, SFHA, PSSA, FMEA, Reliability and CMA.

  • 2020-2021 ALSTOM

    • Team lead for Railway Safety activities on Bangkok and Caire projects.
    • Learning standards EN 50126 / 50128 /50129

  • 2017-2020 MITAC

    • Technical authority for functional Safety on Spacejet programs (about 40 people).
    • Safety Core Compliance Expert, interfacing with JCAB, FAA and EASA.
    • Simplification and improvement of certification reports released for M90 certification.

  • 2009-2017 BOMBARDIER

    • Safety technical lead (aircraft level) on CSeries (A220) program, with successful certification.
    • Acting on ARP4754A et 4761 guidelines.
    • Continuous airworthiness risk analysis.
    • Responsible and developper for the Safety Data Base.

  • 2004-2009 PEUGEOT CITROËN

    • Safety / Reliability analysis (ISO 26262).
    • Improvement of diagnostic capability.
    • Specification and modelisation of the electrical / electronic supervision function.

  • 1998-2004 APSYS AIRBUS

    • Technical management for A380 activities.
    • Safety analysis at aircraft, system and equipment level.
    • RAMS activities outside AIRBUS scope.
